Shirley St Clair-Laing
I started photography in the film days which gave me an understanding of the technicalities of photography. After some resistance, I eventually succumbed to the digital era and have attended numerous courses and workshops, learning more with every one. Over the years, I discovered that the fine art, abstract and landscape genres are my favourites, and have supplied prints of my work to many commercial businesses. I have also been commissioned to photograph family portraits, model portfolios, business premises and restaurants.
The name Artipix came about from my sister, Nola, who has been instrumental in encouraging me with my photography.
This website is a showcase of my work. I have many more where they came from, but don’t want to flood the site with too many, so please contact me should you have any specific requirements.
Please enjoy browsing my galleries. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoyed taking and processing them. I will be uploading new ones from time to time, so please check back regularly!
Prints of most of the works on this website are for sale, as well as others not uploaded here. Please send me an email or give me a call (see contact page for details) if you have any queries, or wish to order.
